Basic Rider Course

This motorcycle course is designed for everyone from the beginner to the experienced motorcyclist. We are currently not holding classes at this time. Please check back in the spring of 2012 for updated information.

Behind the Wheel

Behind the Wheel fulfills the state required 12 hours of "in the car" instruction with a state certified Driver Education Instructor. This includes both 6 hours of driving and 6 hours of observation. Behind the Wheel hours can only begin once a student has received a valid Instruction Permit from the DMV.

Class Room Training

The classroom session fulfills the state required 30 hours of "in the classroom driving instruction" for teens under the age of 18.

Private Lessons

Private lessons consist of one-on-one BTW time with a state certified instructor. Student and/or parent meet with an instructor prior to the lesson to discuss what skills he/she would like to focus on and what will be accomplished or focused on in the private lesson. After the lesson is finished, the instructor will discuss the effectiveness of the lesson, and it will be determined if more lessons are needed or desired.

Road Test Vehicle

If a student needs a vehicle for the DMV Road Test, Safety and Respect may rent one to you. The student's sponsor is required to attend the road test with the teen and will need to sign vehicle rental forms.
